A Technology and Science Model Competition & Exhibition for the Students Pursuing 10+2 Board Examinations on April 2020

In order to develop scientific instinct among the youth, The Neotia University (TNU) & Neotia Institute of Technology, Management and Science (NITMAS) is organizing a technology and science model competition and exhibition event “TechScibition-2020” on April 2020 at the campus.
Neotia Institute of Technology, Management and Science (NITMAS), was established in 2002. The college is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) and courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
The Neotia University (TNU) was established vide the West Bengal State Government Act XXIII of 2014. The University is offering various Courses of, Engineering, Maritime Studies, Hospitality and Culinary Arts, Agriculture and Bio-Sciences, Humanities; BBA & B.A with LLB (Hons.) and many more.
The University and the institute campus is spread over 50 acres of lush green, beautifully landscaped area near to Sarisa, South-24 Parganas.

To provide a forum to nurture science and inventive interest with in the youth and connecting new ideas to their existing ideas from materials and activities;
To explore and encourage scientific and technological talent and creative thinking among school students and inculcate in them a sense of pride in their talent;
To developed an understanding about the role of science and technology to meet the needs of the society;
To analyse how science and technology have affected individuals, cultures and societies;
To motivate the youth towards science and technology based higher study; in socio-economic development; and
To encourage them as an architect of the nation and visualize future of the nation;

Participant must be pursuing 10+2 board examinations with science subjects
Register your name with choice of Topic/Model
You can also register by forming a group of maximum five members of same 10+2 level preferably from same institute
Registration is free & Last date of registration is 31^st December 2019

Once you have registered yourself with topic of interest you will be grouped of maximum five members (preferably from same school) and will be assigned to corresponding Mentor teacher from TNU/NITMAS
Under the supervision of mentor teacher you have to implement the model
The kits required to implement the model will be provided by the organizer
On the final date of model exhibition groups will be exhibiting their models along with poster report in front of Judges panel

First Prize: One first prize will be given to the winning group and each participants of the winning group will won cash prize of INR 3000/-.
Second Prize: Three second prizes will be given to next three groups and each participants of those second prize winning groups will won cash prize of INR 1000/-
Third Prize: Six third prizes will be given to next six groups and each participants of those third prize winning groups will won cash prize of INR 500/-
Top 100 participants will get scholarship from TNU and NITMAS during admission in the academic year 2020-21
On the date of final exhibition all groups will get chance to exhibit their model to delegates present on the event
Selected groups may get a chance to exhibit their model in national level of Science exhibition
All participants will get participation certificates
