Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) covers all areas of our daily life. Radio, television, mobile phones, computers, wireless devices, satellites, warfare equipments, biomedical electronics and house-hold appliances, are few examples of the wide area of application of electronics. The objective of the B.Tech program in electronics at NITMAS is to provide a strong foundation in theoretical, practical and design aspects of ECE. The course covers all key areas of electronics and communication engineering which may be broadly classified under electronic circuits and systems, semiconductor devices, signal processing, communication, VLSI and Embedded engineering. The syllabus is a balanced mix of theoretical and practical classes along with project works.Electronics and Communication Engineering graduates have unlimited opportunities in the field of communication systems like cellular phones, television, optical fiber communication, consumer electronics as well as in higher studies and research.
