Course Infrastructure

Departmental Laboratories

•  Five numbers of dedicated well-equipped Computer Laboratories having state of the art PCs with latest software, each lab having 30+ machines
•  In all practical classes the students are given access to the PCs strictly in 1:1 ratio, so as to enable them to have true hands-on experience
•  All the PCs in the laboratories are connected in LAN for sharing of data and information
•  The PCs are supported by On-line UPS and anti-virus software
•  Separate machines in the laboratories for the laboratories faculties
•  Server based software such as Oracle DBMS, Matlab, Rational Rose, Visual Studio, Xilinx
•  Microsoft academic license for Windows, Office, .NET, Windows Server etc.

IT Infrastructure

A dedicated Server Room to centrally control and monitor the entire IT infrastructure of the campus which include

• Individual PC with Internet connection for most of the faculties and staff members
• 600+ PCs in the campus
• OFC backbone for Campus LAN
• 24 x 7 Internet facility through dedicated LL
• 24 x 7 Wifi facilities for students and faculties in the campus
• Anti-virus support for all PCs through central server control
• On-line UPS facilities for all the Labs
• Printers, scanners
• Campus Intranet for information sharing across all departments & Central Library
