Our Notable Alumni

Andre Justin Gomes, Our 2015 graduate in B. Tech Marine Engineering, received a Gold Medal in 8th Annual Convocation by MAKAUT(formerly known as WBUT). Andre Justin Gomes was always a very disciplined, meritorious and an outstanding student, who is currently working with Gulf Maritime and achieving great heights of success in life.

Our 2015 graduate Subhadip Bhattacharya has topped the University MAKAUT (formerly known as WBUT) in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Stream for the year 2015. A momentous occasion and an admirable achievement. Subhadip was always a disciplined, dedicated and exemplary student. Subhadip is now with Power and Control Systems in Guwahati, and is doing his M.Tech. at IIT-G. He is doing extremely well for himself.

Subham Kundu, an alumni of Electronics and Communication Engineering branch of our institute is continuing his brilliant performance in Table Tennis throughout the year. His achievements make us proud. Few of them are:

Our 2015 graduate Poulami Roy has successfully completed Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from The New York University this year 2017. We congratulate her for this great achievement.

Our 2015 graduate Subhrajit Mitra has successfully completed Master of Technology from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur this year 2017 and continuing his research work in IIEST. We congratulate him for this great achievement.

Our 2013 graduate Siddhartha Sekhar Bose is currently working at Infosys Labs. Before that he was associate member of CERN, Meyrin, Switzerland and European Organization for Nuclear Research, Geneva, Switzerland. We congratulate him for this great success.

Our 2011 graduate Eeran Maity is continuing his research and development in IBM research and development, Garmany after completion of his research at The University of Göttingen,Göttingen, Niedersachsen.  We congratulate him for this great achievement.

Our 2008 graduate Sayamindu had completed his PhD from MIT in 2016 and currently he is doing post-doctorate at eScience Institute, University of Washington. In 2014 he was named in the Forbes 30 under 30 list for Education. We congratulate him for this great enactment.

Our 2008 graduate Sankha Basu is currently a PhD Scholar in Marketing (Consumer Behavior) at the Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Prior to this, he had completed MBA in Marketing from S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (a top ranked school in Asia) and have worked for two years in a strategy role for retail banking at Axis Bank Ltd. (the third largest private sector bank in India). We congratulate him for this great effectuation.

Our 2008 graduate Sujay Bose is currently working as Technical Consultant for Wipro Technologies posted at Houston, Texas Area. Previously he had worked with Infosys Technologies Limited as Senior System Engineer. In the training period at Infosys, Sujay had topped among the trainee’s at Mysore DC (Training Center of Infosys Technologies Limited). We congratulate him for this great acquisition.

Our 2007 graduate Dr. Dibyendu Kayal is working as a senior engineer at ARM, Bengaluru. After completing B.Tech in ECE from our institute he joined Jadavpur University and completed his Ph.D in VLSI design. We congratulate him for this great achievement.

Our 2014 graduate Indradanush Gupta is currently working as a “Recurser” at Recurse Centre, New York (A self-directed program to facilitate learning to become a better programmer). Before that he was system engineer at Instamojo, Bangalore. In the year of 2014, he was selected for GOOGLE SUMMER OF CODE student project and entitled to receive 5500USD from Google for the development. Let us take pride in his achievements and wish him a great success from NITMAS family.
